Clients - creating tags and filtering by tags

In InvoiceOcean, there is a possibility to create tags for existing clients in the system and to use created tags when creating filters on the client's list.

Creating tags

You can create a tag when adding or editing a client. When you are on the client's card, in the Tags field, enter the tags you want to assign to the client. You can add additional tags by confirming them with the Enter, Space, or Tab keys.



Once you have created tags and saved client's data, the program will display information about the tags used on the card of that particular client. Each tag is immediately saved in the system, meaning that when adding tags on another client's card, you can choose previously saved solutions.


 

Delete a tag

Click on the cross icon next to the tag you want to remove.

Filtering by tags:

On the client's list (you can access it by clicking the Clients tab in the top system menu), in the filtering panel, we have the ability to search by specific tags. When you start typing in the Tags field, the program suggests existing entries. In this column, you can also add a new tag — the mechanism works the same way as on the client's card.



Below the Tags field, there is the Tag filtering variant where  you can choose options such as:

  • (clients) Matches any tag,
  • (clients) Matches no tag, 
  • (clients) Matches all tags
