AutoPayments

"Pay online" button on the invoice

Last updated: 2024-11-06

In order to maximize efficiency and simultaneously facilitate payment for your customer, there is an option to include a Pay Online button in the issued document. Simply configure online payments by enabling at least one payment method (e.g., bank transfer), and then the button will appear on the invoice, allowing customers to make payments within a few minutes - either by credit card or fast bank transfers. Examples of available configurations can be found in the post regarding AutoPayments configuration.

To display the Pay Online button on the invoice, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Online Payments.
  2. Choose a convenient payment method from the available options.
  3. Save the changes.

Note:
You need to enable at least one of the available payment types. To start testing, it's easiest to choose Bank Transfer. This way, the invoice will display a button that allows customers to make payments via credit card or fast bank transfers within just a few minutes

To verify if the Pay Online function works, you need to enter the invoice creation mode, fill in all the necessary information, and save the document.

You should then see a view like this, with the quick payment function activated in the top right corner:

  • BitPay
If you want to restrict the option to pay online for invoices over a certain amount (to avoid commission charges for large invoices), you can do so in the menu:
  • Settings > Online Payments;
  • Settings > Link to invoice payment to the amount of
pay online 2

Additional feature:
After configuring Online Payments, you can quickly start selling products and services directly from your website thanks to Auto payments
