While creating your own invoice templates, you can take advantage of three Handlebars variables defining currency: 1. currency - always shows the currency in letters (EUR, USD, PLN) 2. currency_short - always shows the currency abbreviation (€, $, zł) 3. currency_symbol - either shows the currency in letters or abbreviation, depending on the settings in Settings > Account settings > Print settings > Currency symbol.
